Intergenerational Climate Resilience

Academic Research Opportunity

A student research group examining climate resilience across generations within psychiatry and psychotherapy research. This X-Student Research Group (a continuation of 'Social connection in times of climate change' from Winter 2025/26, open to new students) implements the 'Intergenerational Resilience Lab', which explores how older adults and students who experienced migration perceive climate-related emotions, loneliness, and social connectedness in Berlin. Students will help plan an intergenerational World Café, engage in science communication by organising a creative exhibition, and analyse and summarize results in a report. The course is open to all disciplines and levels; students who speak English and have a background or interest in arts and illustration are especially encouraged to participate.
