Undergraduate Summer Research Training in Neuroscience

Immersive 10-week summer research training program in neuroscience at NYU Langone Department of Neuroscience. Students engage in basic or translational research under mentorship of experienced researchers and PIs. Designed to support students who wish to pursue graduate school and a scientific career. Open to current sophomore or junior undergraduates residing in New York City and surrounding areas (New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York) who can commute to NYU Langone for an in-person research experience. Students matched with faculty from one of more than 30 neuroscience laboratories. Preference given to applicants from non-research-intensive colleges and universities; students interested in pursuing PhD, MD/PhD, or MD degrees are encouraged to apply.

Application

Criteria: Applicants must be current sophomore or junior undergraduate students residing in New York City and surrounding areas (New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York) who can commute to NYU Langone for an in-person research experience. Applications include an unofficial transcript, a resume or CV, a personal statement, and reference letters (one letter of recommendation required, a second encouraged); apply via the online application form. Sponsorship for work-authorized U.S. immigration status is not offered.

Costs & Contact
