Einstein SURP (Summer Undergraduate Research Program)

summer research program

8-week summer program (May-July) where ~50 undergraduate students conduct original research in a lab of their choosing from Einstein's ten basic science departments. Includes weekly seminars, small-group discussions, ethics/career workshops, social events, a formal poster presentation at the end of the program, free housing, $4,000 stipend, and transportation assistance. Faculty list provided, students select their laboratory preferences.

Criteria: US citizens/permanent residents; undergraduates who have completed junior year (rare exceptions for strong sophomores) in sciences (biology, biochemistry, chemistry, physics, bioengineering, chemical engineering)
