Internship Program

An award-winning international internship initiative run by MIT's MISTI that places MIT undergraduate and graduate students in research, technology, and innovation roles in Singapore. The program offers fully-funded summer internships (and other times of year) at leading Singaporean research institutions, government-linked labs, and private companies. Singapore is positioned as a gateway to broader Asia opportunities. Students must meet GPA requirements, complete a required East Asia course, and participate in mandatory pre-departure preparation.

Criteria: Minimum GPA of 4.0 (undergraduates) or 4.5 (exchange students); completion of a required East Asia course (17.53, 17.407, 21G.030J, 21G.141, 21L.600, or 21G.045J); mandatory pre-departure preparation; interview with Country Program Managing Director. Must be an MIT student.
