The Harbin Institute of Technology Global Summer School (HITGSS) provides a premier international education platform for students worldwide. Over the past nine years, the program has attracted more than 1800 students from over 22 countries and regions. A diverse range of courses across 18 themes is available for both domestic and international students on campus, covering fields such as Mechanics, Intelligent Information and Communication Technology, Robotics, Optoelectronic Information Materials, Smart Low-Carbon Energy, Electrical Intelligence, Precise Measurement, Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence, Physics, Digital Economy, Talents for International Organizations, Intelligent Civil Engineering, Arctic Environment, Architectural Design, Smart Transportation, Artificial Intelligence, Chemistry, and Biology and Medicine. Students select one theme to focus on and receive an official transcript from HIT upon successful completion. The program is open to undergraduate, Master's, and PhD students from cooperative universities or institutions who are fluent in English. Preference is given to those with an interest in science and engineering-related fields. Registration and tuition fees are waived; however, participants are responsible for their own transportation, meals, and other personal expenses. Applications are reviewed, and applicants are notified of acceptance or rejection.
