Short-Term Research Program for Graduate Students
Research StayThesis@Keio is a short-term research program offered by Keio University that provides graduate students with opportunities to expand their cultural experience and build an international academic network. Participants engage in their thesis research at Keio University for a duration of between 7 and 89 days throughout the academic year. This program is specifically designed for graduate students undertaking thesis research and does not offer internship opportunities. Applicants are responsible for arranging their own accommodations and overseas health/travel insurance as Keio University does not provide assistance for these.

Required Documents:
- Application Form
- Research Plan at Keio (at most 1 page on A4 paper)
- Official Academic Transcript (issued within three months; English translation required if not in English)
- Certificate of Enrollment (issued within three months)
- Abstract of Your Thesis (at most 1 page on A4 paper)
- Letter of Recommendation (prepared within three months by academic supervisor)
- Copy of Your Passport (page including photo)
Costs & Contact
Stipend: No stipend provided.
Cost: Program fee varies, participants are responsible for their own accommodation and health/travel insurance.
