The Dorothy Tarrant Fellowship is a recently inaugurated program designed to commemorate the significant contributions of a pioneering figure in UK classics. This fellowship is awarded to scholars affiliated with universities outside the United Kingdom who possess research interests across any field of classical studies. Successful candidates are required to undertake a minimum six-week residency at the Institute of Classical Studies. During their stay, fellows are expected to propose and carry out an event or training activity at the ICS. Proposals for activities that foster engagement with UK-based classical researchers or the broader national and international subject community are especially encouraged. Fellows receive an allowance of A 6000 to assist with travel and accommodation expenses.
