SUSTech Term Visiting / Exchange Program

Research Stay

The Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) hosts international semester programs, offering both a visiting program and an exchange program for students from its overseas partner institutions. These opportunities allow participants to take SUSTech courses and attend classes alongside regular students during the Fall and Spring Semesters. The exchange program provides a tuition-free experience, while the visiting program involves a fee. Both programs aim to provide a rich academic and cultural immersion, enabling international students to experience education in China.

Criteria: Must be a student registered at one of SUSTech eligibility amel Must be fluent in Chinese or English to engage in an academic setting. Must agree with SUSTech’s educational philosophy. Must be physically and mentally healthy and possess the ability to adapt to a new environment.

Costs & Contact

Stipend: Unpaid
Cost: Visiting programs: RMB 15,000/semester tuition, RMB 1000 international student fee, RMB 600/month accommodation. Exchange programs: No tuition fee, RMB 1000 international student fee, RMB 600/month accommodation. Students are responsible for living expenses, travel, insurance, and personal expenses.
