The Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) Immunology Research Summer Program (IRSP) is a 10-week intensive program designed to inspire and prepare the next generation of immunologists. It offers outstanding undergraduate rising juniors and seniors, particularly those majoring in biology, immunology, and biochemistry, immersive, hands-on training and mentorship in immunology, cancer immunobiology, and immuno-oncology research. Participants will engage in independent research projects under the guidance of assigned lab faculty/mentors in cutting-edge laboratories at MSK, located in Manhattan. The program includes developing research skills, interacting with faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students, attending luncheon/seminar series and professional development workshops, and presenting a poster on their work at the program's conclusion. A stipend of $6,500 is provided for the 10 weeks, and summer dormitory housing is also available at no cost. The program is open to eligible undergraduate students enrolled in US accredited institutions, with a strong encouragement for applicants from groups historically underrepresented in science.
